The journey to the Wildkogel Arena Neukirchen & Bramberg is possible by car, bus, train or plane. Depending on the travel route, there are different ways to get there.

From the West
(CH) Inntal Autobahn (A12: toll sticker required) - exit "Wörgl Ost" - St. Johann i.T. - Kitzbühel - Pass Thurn - Mittersill - Bramberg/Neukirchen

From the East
Vienna - Salzburg (A1: toll sticker required) - Bischofshofen - Zell am See - Mittersill - Bramberg/Neukirchen

From the South
(I, SLO) Tauern Autobahn (A10: toll sticker required) - exit "St. Michael" or "Bischofshofen" - Zell am See - Mittersill - Bramberg/Neukirchen

Toll info for the Gerloss Pass in WINTER:
All skiers already in possession of a ski pass (chip card) from the Zillertal Arena can use this pass to drive through the automated lane at the toll gate.

The red Pinzgauer Local Railway is waiting at the station surrounded by green hills and alpine meadows – a sustainable way to reach the Wildkogel Arena with scenic views included.

Guest Mobility Ticket

The Guest Mobility Ticket allows you to use all public transportation in SalzburgerLand free of charge for the duration of your stay. It is valid for city and regional transport, as well as S-Bahn trains, regional trains, long-distance trains, and Salzburg Verkehr shuttles. You will receive the ticket in digital form – either as a wallet ticket or a PDF – directly at check-in or in advance during pre-check-in at your accommodation in the province of Salzburg.

Arrival by Air

Salzburg Airport is the second largest airport in Austria and is serviced by more than 90 airlines. Various forms of public transportation run regularly from Salzburg Airport to our holiday region. Naturally, you can also take advantage of shuttle service or even rent a car at the airport. Salzburg Airport is located about 1 1/2 hours from Hohe Tauern National Park. 

In addition to the airport in Salzburg itself, you can also make use of the airports in Munich or in Innsbruck. Travel time from either of these locations is between 2 and 3 hours.

Wildkogel-Arena is quick & cheap to reach – from Germany and from Austria

Arrival from Germany

There are many fast daily connections for a relaxed, eco-friendly train ride from Germany to Wildkogel-Arena in SalzburgerLand. Always affordable thanks to the low pricing available to you through the BahnCard. Your final stop is the train station in Zell am See. In Zell am See, you can transfer to trains on the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn line running to Bramberg and Neukirchen. With the Nationalpark SommerCard, you can even ride these local trains for free – simply have your hosts send you your card ahead of time.
