Ice Skating and Ice Stock in Neukirchen & Bramberg

Ideal sport for beautiful winter days

Elegantly gliding across the ice, out in the fresh air with skates on your feet, is simply part of any true winter. Now, regardless of precisely how "elegant" you actually look out on the rink - ultimately, it's all about having fun! Neukirchen and Bramberg are both home to a floodlit ice rink, where you can try your hand at skating for the very first time, improve the skills you already have, or practice your artistic figures and pirouettes. One thing is certain: Ice skating in Wildkogel-Arena Neukirchen & Bramberg is an experience you don't want to miss out on during your winter holiday in Salzburg province.

That said, the sport of "ice stock" also looks back on a long and rich tradition, especially in the Alpine region. Here, your goal is to get your "stock" as close as possible to the target, known as a "Daube". This popular winter sport is also possible in our own region. Please note: If you want to enjoy a game of ice stock, you will need to wear no-slip shoes, since the game is played on an ice rink.
