Whether you’re planning your holiday or need details about what to expect on arrival, you’ll find the answers to the queries we receive most often here.

Summer activities

You can find the opening and operating hours of the Wildkogel mountain railways >here<

The toboggan trail is open in fine weather during the Wildkogelbahn’s operating hours. You

can find information about which toboggans are open >here<.

Use of the slide trail is free of charge. There is only a rental fee of €3 per slide mat (compulsory).

The Mountaincart track is open during the Smaragdbahn’s operating hours. You

can find information about the Mountaincart track >here<

Of course, dogs are also welcome on the gondola. A single journey for your four-legged friend costs €7.00.

Children feel right at home in the Wildkogel high-altitude hiking area. Before setting off on one of the many family-friendly circular walks, children can let off steam at the Kogel-Mogel adventure arena. The Slide Trail, with its 10 stainless steel slides, is a highlight of any family holiday. But hiking is also great fun for children along the Adler-Toni Trail, which starts at the end of the Slide Trail, as well as along the Smaragd Trail into the Habachtal valley and the Venediger Trail into the Obersulzbachtal valley. There are many pushchair-friendly hiking trails in the Wildkogel high-altitude hiking area. The Smaragdweg trail into the Habachtal valley is also accessible with a pushchair.

Visitors from Neukirchen and Bramberg can borrow baby carriers and pushchairs free of charge from the tourist information offices, subject to a deposit.

National Park Summer Card

The National Park Summer Card is already included in the price of accommodation at over 180 partner establishments in Neukirchen and Bramberg.

The National Park SummerCard is not available for purchase; instead, it is included in the price of accommodation at over 180 accommodation providers in Neukirchen and Bramberg.

The National Park Summer Card is valid for the entire duration of your stay between 1 May and 31 October. The National Park Summer Card is valid from the moment you arrive, whether by train or via the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and the Gerlos Alpine Road.

The SalzburgerLand Card can be purchased online for six or twelve days. You can find

General questions

Neukirchen €3.00 per person per night

Bramberg €2.50 per person per night

The tourist tax applies to persons aged 15 and over

The Guest Mobility Ticket entitles you to free use of all public transport throughout your stay in SalzburgerLand – including buses, suburban trains, regional and long-distance trains, and the Salzburg Verkehr shuttles.

You will receive the ticket digitally – either as a wallet ticket for your smartphone or as a PDF – either at check-in or in advance during pre-check-in at your accommodation.

In addition to the accommodation tax, a mobility charge of €0.50 per person per night (from 15 years of age) is levied for the Guest Mobility Ticket.
