Here’s what you can expect on the mountain cart track
On a Mountaincart ride on the Wildkogel, you’ll experience a unique combination of nature, panoramic views and speed. The route takes you 4.5 kilometres downhill – past alpine meadows, with stunning views and plenty of fun.

Information & Requirements
- The track is open until 4.00 pm during the opening hours of the Smaragdbahn!
- Helmets are compulsory: a helmet is included in the ticket price on a hire basis
- For safety reasons, children under the age of 4 are not permitted to ride the Mountaincarts.
- Children aged between 4 and 9 may ride accompanied by an adult.
- Children aged 10 and over and at least 150 cm tall may drive a Mountaincart themselves – in the presence of an adult supervisor.
