BEAMING KIDS' EYES
Aviation for R/C pilots - borne aloft by the thermals
On a sunny south-facing mountainside at 1160 m above sea level, close to Alpengasthof Stockenbaum, lies the 100 m-long, 30 m-wide take-off area, which is kept regularly mowed, of course. Guaranteeing that no annoying blade of grass is ever going to disrupt your take-off or landing. You can drive your car right to the edge of the field, then comfortably unload all of your equipment.
Next to the Gasthof Friedburg, which is located at 1,000 m above sea level, there is also a take-off and landing facility for sailors, wings, helicopters and park flyers. The terrain builds up the thermals relatively quickly.
