It is valid for both city and regional transport, as well as for S-Bahn services, regional trains, long-distance trains and the Salzburg Verkehr shuttles. You will receive the ticket in digital form – either as a wallet ticket or as a PDF – either directly upon check-in or in advance via pre-check-in at your accommodation in the province of Salzburg.

Travelling by plane

Salzburg Airport is Austria’s second-largest airport and is served by over 90 airlines. Excellent non-stop scheduled flights from numerous European cities and seamless connecting flights via the hubs of Frankfurt, Vienna, London, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Istanbul ensure a quick and comfortable journey, allowing you to start your holiday feeling relaxed. There are also regular public transport services from Salzburg Airport to the Wildkogel-Arena; of course, you can also travel in complete comfort on the shuttle bus or hire a car directly at the airport. Salzburg Airport is approximately 110 km or about 1½ hours’ drive from the Wildkogel Arena in Neukirchen & Bramberg.

As well as Salzburg Airport, you also have the option of using Munich Airport or Innsbruck Airport. The journey takes 2–3 hours – approximately 120 km.
