Regardless of the season, a visit to the Steineralm in Neukirchen is worthwhile, which can be reached after a hike or comfortably by the Almtaxi. At an elevation of 1,600 meters, you will be rewarded with traditional Pinzgau cuisine, enjoyed with the best sun terrace view of the Großvenediger. The schnitzels at the Steineralm are as highly sought after as the game dishes; definitely save some room for a Kaiserschmarrn.
