“NPHT: Schösswend Gorge and Hintersee – Exploring the Felber Valley”

Here, at the valley floor by the Schösswendklamm, the waters have been cutting through the hard rock for millennia. This has resulted in impressive erosion shapes, pools, and small waterfalls. Following the gorge, the path continues to Hintersee, and you will learn interesting facts about the flora and fauna in the back Felbertal. On the north side of the lake, the circular path leads to a hill with a view over the valley end with its impressive rock faces, where chamois can be seen. The return journey follows the same route.
