No one should have to go through this, but even whilst on a well-deserved holiday, it can unfortunately happen that you fall ill or injure yourself.
In such cases, it helps to know straight away which doctors’ surgeries or pharmacies are currently open.

Emergency services: GP on-call service in the province of Salzburg
Throughout the province of Salzburg, the GP on-call service ensures medical care for the population outside normal GP surgery hours, in the evenings, on public holidays and at weekends.
You can reach the doctor on duty in your area by dialling 141 between 7.00 pm and 11.00 pm.
On Friday evenings, an on-call surgery is open in all districts from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
At weekends and on public holidays, the GP on duty is generally on call
from 7.00 am to 11.00 pm. Please always ring 141 first.

Slope rescue and the billing of mountain rescue costs are handled by the Austrian Red Cross.
The slope and rescue service only monitors marked and open slopes – you enter off-piste terrain at your own risk.
