“NPHT: Into the Valley of Emeralds”

The tour starts at the information hut at the Habachtal parking lot. After a few meters, the roadway is left, and the "Emerald Path" is entered. The ranger tells about the peculiarities of the trough valley and the green glittering treasure: the valuable emeralds. Additionally, participants learn how gem searching works and where exactly searching is permitted. Nature observations are also included – with a bit of luck, you might see either golden eagles or marmots. The end of the tour is marked by the Alpine inn Alpenrose.
